The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) is the only accreditation institution recognized by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia. BAN-PT oversees the quality and efficiency of higher education through the accreditation process of all study programs in higher education institutions in Indonesia. BAN-PT has provided information to the public about the accreditation status of courses or study programs at the institution, so that the public is confident about the quality of education offered and the quality of these programs can be maintained and improved.

Based on the decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 407 / SK / BAN-PT / AK-ISK / PT / 2021 in 2021, Telkom University Surabaya has successfully achieved Excellent accreditation, and has become the first Private University (PTS) in Indonesia to achieve Excellent accreditation. Currently, Telkom University Surabaya has 11 Study Programs that have been accredited by BAN-PT, 2 Study Programs have been accredited Very Well and 9 Study Programs have been accredited Good.
